Course Overview
This course will help develop an understanding of stress. It will look at causes of stress and the effects stress can have on health.
Prosp Overview
It is recommended that you possess a Level 1 literacy qualification or equivalent and have an interest in the social care field. You will need good ICT Skills an electronic tablet, PC or laptop with good internet access to support working on Moodle which is Oldham Lifelong Learning’s virtual learning platform.

Assessment will be complete on Moodle and/or in a workbook covering all the learning outcomes of this qualification which is produced by the awarding body. Each candidate is required to complete these assessments which includes a variety of short and long answer questions. All will be assessed by your assessor and a sample of your completed work will then be externally moderated by the awarding body.

The course consists of one mandatory unit which covers:

Understand what is meant by ‘stress’
Know the effects of stress
Possible causes of stress
How to recognise stress
Ways to prevent and reduce the effects of stress
Prosp Content
You can progress onto other related courses with or without qualifications to support your training and future development.
