Course Overview
This 14-week online course is an introductory teaching qualification for anyone interested in training and teaching adults. The first session and any micro teach sessions will be classroom based.
Prosp Overview
You will need a Level 2 qualification in English. Before you enrol you will need to provide evidence of this and receive information, advice and guidance. Please ring 0161 770 8271 for more information. You will need access to appropriate ICT equipment and broadband to access the course and our Moodle platform.
Prosp Req
There is no exam, however you must meet all the specification requirements set out by the NCFE awarding body. Your tutor will provide feedback and support on your progress. There are 11 written assignments and a reflective weekly journal to complete. We recommend that you allow 3-5 hours per week study time each week in addition to the 3 hours class time. You will also prepare and deliver a half hour teaching session (micro teach) on a topic of your choice.

Prosp Content
This qualification does not constitute a full preparation to teach. You may use your skills to deliver training in the voluntary sector or access higher level qualifications in teaching.

Prosp Progression
Fully funded for those learners living in a GMCA area and meet the specified funding requirements.
