The aim of this course is to develop your knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and how this framework helps you to understand how you can effectively support children’s learning and development. You will explore how children develop and learn through a range of practical activities.

Adults who are new to working with young children or who want to learn more about early years childcare.

· What the EYFS is, skills, qualities roles and responsibilities.
· How children learn - 7 areas of learning.
· How you can support children in a Childcare setting
· The importance of play and talking
· Simple ways to observe and support children
