Course Overview
This course is for anyone who would like to understand how domestic abuse affects people in society and what they can do to help victims. It offers learners an insight into domestic abuse and its impact.

This course is not formally assessed and there will be no examination. The tutor will monitor your progress and provide constructive feedback regarding your achievement of the learning outcomes.
A certificate of attendance will be provided on completion of the course.

The main areas covered in the course are:
-identifying domestic abuse
-the effects on the victim and other significant people
-the restorative process
Prosp Content
Your tutor will discuss your possible next steps with you. We offer a variety of courses with and without a qualification in complementary subjects.
Prosp Progression
This course is part-funded by the ESFA and GMCA. A concessionary fee is available for learners in receipt of eligible benefits - you will have to enrol in person and bring proof of benefits with you.
We do not give refunds if you withdraw from your course unless you give us at least 1 week's notice before the course start date that you will not be taking up your place.
