Materials and Equipment
Please note that you will need to provide all the materials for your own projects just for your own use as stated above. These can be discussed with the tutor in class, but to begin with they will include
- Pen, drawing pencil and sharpener, colour pencils, eraser, ruler
- Scissors, small craft knife (if appropriate)
- A4 sketch pad, small notebook
- Work mats or thin kitchen cutting boards
- Set of wooden or metal modelling tools with a variety of different heads
- Small potters knife or paring knife
- Metal kidney, scraper or credit card sized piece of plastic
- Paintbrush, yoghurt pot
- Pin tool, cocktail stick, bamboo skewer
- Small rolling pin or piece of dowelling
- Piece of fabric for rolling and guide-sticks
- Any other favourite tools you have or like to use
- Cleaning cloth
- Container, basket or box and bubble-wrap to take your work home
- Items to support project work to be discussed on a weekly basis
